Despite doubts, recent developments suggest that the 4th test match for India vs. Australia in Gaba, Brisbane will be on schedule, news agency PTI reported on Sunday.
Australian media argued that the Brisbane test was at risk because tourists were reluctant to travel there due to stricter quarantine rules.
However, at this time BCCI has not received a call asking CA to move the test match from Brisbane to Sydney.

“It’s a fluid situation. Let’s wait a few more days,” a BCCI official told PTI.
Queensland has closed its borders for people traveling in New South Wales as cases of COVID-19 outbreaks increase in Sydney and surrounding areas.
However, there are exceptions to the test match, and players will be subjected to a tighter biobubble similar to that of the IPL.
To play a test match in Brisbane, the Indian team has to go through a more rigorous biobubble in Sydney itself, which requires about 15 days of strict isolation (hotel-stadium-hotel).
