Prayers and wishes began pouring out from every corner when the news of Sourav Ganguly’s hospitalization on Saturday was dismissed. BCCI representative and former captain of the Indian cricket team, Ganguly, was taken to Woodlands General Hospital in Kolkata after complaining of chest pain. Reports say 48-year-old Ganguly experienced dizziness while exercising at the gym on Saturday morning.

As Ganguly continued to be monitored by doctors, the cricket community made a wish for the former Indian allegation and hoped he would recover quickly and healthy. Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane Virender Sehwag and others led a series of good wishes for former Indian claims.

“I learned about your illness Sourav. May every passing day bring you closer to a full and quick recovery! Get healthy quickly,” tweeted Sachin Tendulkar.

“Dada, jaldi se theek hone ka. We wish you a quick and quick recovery from @SGanguly99,” tweeted Sehwag.
Dhawan tweeted: “Pray for a quick recovery Dada @ SGanguly99. Heal quickly.”
Harsha Bhogle, a prominent cricket commentator and analyst, tweeted about his warm wishes to Ganguly. Wish @ SGanguly99 is a quick recovery.”
“Former Indian captain and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly suffered a minor heart attack earlier today. He is now in a stable state. We wish him a quick recovery!” tweeted the ICC.
BCCI sent a tweet wishing Ganguly a healthy recovery. “I wish you a quick recovery here to @SGanguly99, President of BCCI.”
Indian stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane who will lead the team in the last two tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy tweeted: “Quick Recovery Dada, @ SGanguly99. I pray for healing soon.”
‘Dada @ SGanguly99 Get well soon,’ said veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who spent his best days under the claim of Ganguly.
In conversation with ANI, a source close to the former Indian captain said that Ganguly complained of chest pain and that angioplasty may be required. “Dada (Sourav) complained of chest pain and ran to the hospital. You may need to undergo angioplasty. He is out of danger,” said the source.
